Cherry 사의 키보드 Article Number 해독(?)법. 모든 모델에 대응하는 것은 아니지만 G80-3000 모델 기준으로 설명되어있다.
체리사의 제품 번호는 다음과 같은 포맷 중 하나를 따른다.
- G8X-YYYY

여기서 X부분은 제품군의 분류에 해당한다.
- G80: Full-Travel Mechanical(MX switch)
- G81: Full Travel, Sealed Contact (FTSC) with MY switches
- G82: rubber sheet
- G83: New Technology Keyboard (NTK) with rubber sheets
- G84: ML switch keyboards
- G85: scissor switch keyboards
- G86: Advanced Technology Keyboard (ATK), with spill-proof rubber sheets
- G87: membrane
- ESA: Full-Travel Mechanical- So far only seen on ESA-3000-HASRO and ESA-3000HAGD0
빨간색으로 표기한 G80과 G84가 기계식 키보드로 분류된다.
다음 YYYY부분은 제품의 모델번호로, 4 또는 5자리의 숫자로 구성되어있다.
- 다음으로 나오는 첫번째 문자는 키캡의 인쇄방식에 따른 구분 문자이다.
- L = Lasered PBT,POM or ABS (일반적으로 PBT or POM)
- P = Pad-printed ABS
- H = Double-shot ABS (이중사출)
- S = Dye-sublimated PBT (염료승화)
두번째 문자는 연결커넥터와 스위치조합에 따른 구분 문자.
